The Group and its commitment to environmental sustainability

This is the set of policies adopted by Acea to provide incentives to develop a culture on and awareness of values such as: corporate responsibility, sustainable development strategy, environmental protection, energy efficiency and renewable energy. To take on due responsibility for these issues, Acea considers it necessary to have an ongoing debate with the academic world and with institutions as well as exchanging experiences with other companies, organisations and stakeholder representatives. The Sustainability Report, which is now in its tenth edition, offers testimony of Acea’s corporate responsibility, and provides background to the approach which has been followed so far, not only by presenting most of the data over a three-year time period, but also by proposing, where necessary, summaries of the main events that have occurred between 1998 and the current day.
