Acea and Safety as a founding value

Acea has always paid careful attention to the issue of workplace safety and considers ensuring its staff work in utmost safety and protecting their health and physical integrity not as a duty but as a founding value.

Acea constantly updates the organisation of the Safety System to make it an increasingly effective managerial tool for checking and control: in this sense, it has its own Integrated Health and Safety Management System at an advanced stage of development and is designing the architecture for a method for the technical and administrative recording of accidents, so as to enable the preparation of a Safety Report.

In March 2006 the reference criteria were defined and formalised which the Acea Group’s Senior Management and Employers intend to adopt and maintain for matters regarding the Health and Safety of Workers, through the issue of the Safety Policy which all employees of the Acea Group are required to comply with.

The Safety policy is applied to ACEA SpA and to the directly and indirectly controlled subsidiaries.
